It’s simple to get anything from your curtains or trouser leg length altered or your zip repaired using our online seamstress service. Simply send us your garment(s) with your requirements detailed then sit back and relax whilst we do our alteration thing before posting them straight back to your door.

Wedding dress after care
At Hemming Birds, we pay special attention to all of the gowns we work on, offering a dry cleaning & boxing service alongside our wedding dress alterations.

We will have your bridal gown dry cleaned, folded into a preservation box and wrapped in layers of acid-free paper to prevent the discolouration of fabric.
​
Alternatively, we could turn your gown into a Christening dress, or adorable keepsake blanket or cushion.
Industrial sewing and relabelling
To add a professional, retail touch to any stock garments you can use our industrial sewing service.

Within this we provide a garment relabelling service as well as direct to garment label printing, tax tabs, rubber badges, swing tags, bagging or packaging as required.

This is the perfect solution for a range of work wear including office wear, nurse’s tunics, beauty tunics, sports club wear, school wear and many more.
Personalised keepsakes
In the Hemming Birds online shop, you can choose from a range of personalised keepsakes from simple name prints on teddy bears and Christmas sacks and stockings to bespoke made soft toys or blankets using cherished clothing.
